don’t skip this novella!!
this is just under 200 pages long and somehow it was enough to make me fall in love with vale, lillith and their story. the plot, world-building and character development felt so polished for such a short book.
i found lillith really relatable in the way that she struggles to emotionally connect with other people and it was so heartwarming to watch her flourish.
and vale asking her permission to send her letters might actually be the most romantic thing ever.
so excited to see more of them in the ashes and the star-cursed king!
