The Weight of Blood
by Laura McHugh
I like how the story was going, everything seems was very detailed and intense. As I was getting closer to the end it seemed like the author was running out of the paper and tried to finish it quick. How Crete finally ended up it's just didn't feel how it was supposed to happen. It was an accident, and it seemed it should have been done by someone else's hand. It's just the ending wasn't complete...Lucy was trying to find out what happened, putting all the effort, searching and Boom Crete is dead..the end. It would be more of a strong, meaningful ending if Carl would hear the truth from Crete or if Ransome would speak up and tell what really happened and Carl would do the right thing knowing the truth.
