I really enjoyed this book! I think I have found that I don’t really love the grumpy x sunshine trope, but I still really enjoyed this story. The characters were great, I just felt that I could never really connect with Lottie at all throughout the book. Her character just felt so one dimensional and bland; I would have liked to see more from her because truthfully I just hated her the entire time.
Reading this book felt so nostalgic. It felt like a more sophisticated version of the books I read when I was a kid. It was magical, whimsical, and creative. I also really enjoyed that everyone was so accepting and chill about the queer characters. This story for so fun and I adored the journey all the characters went on!
