A Reckless Memory by Marie Johnston
4.0
A Reckless memory isn’t just a second chance cowboy romance, it is an amazing, emotional read with a strong female lead character that I would be proud to call a friend!
This second chance romance was extremely well written, there were none of the annoyances you sometimes find; Aggie (Agatha) stays strong and empowered, Ansen doesn’t instantly change or get forgiven, although he has plenty of regrets; these things take time.
They grow and develop, and learn to understand themselves as well as each other as part of an amazing storyline, where we meet the rest of the families - the Barron’s (from the fab Oil Barrons series) and the Knights (Aggie’s four strong and troubled brothers), and I can’t wait for more from this series.
The book is full of fabulous moments: some sadness and plenty of joy and laughter. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
