There are many themes explored in this book, but it’s primarily about greed. Everyone in this book doesn’t think about their actions or think deeply about their beliefs. They just are attempting to fill a needy pit inside. For me that doesn’t make for an interesting character I think that these xenophobic talking points are pretty boring so outside of the shock value of having characters revel in those beliefs there wasn’t much there. At no point was anything challenged so there just wasn’t any attention. This writer wrote well and I’d be interested in seeing what else they write. the conversations on journalism were interesting here and the belief of truth being a  moving target was interesting as well as we got to see the story through multiple POV. It’s short so I was never bored and I would give this a lukewarm recommendation.
