First book in the Legacy of God series that I found satisfying.

Jeremy, the MMC, was dark and interesting. Cecily's struggles were interesting and the mystery was enough to pull me. While some aspects of their storyline were interesting, some parts were a little weak. The antagonist, Landon, played too big of a role that it became distracting at moments.

Overall, the characters and storyline were strong enough to be interesting and I would not mind a reread, but more likely a re-listen because Teddy Hamilton is always worth another re-listen. Wish they would redo the book as a duet.
