I love Justin and Viola's story and watching it develop. I think the only reason I didn't grasp onto this more was because it's regency. It's not exactly in my wheel house. I like it but it just didn't hit the same this time. Taking this into consideration, I think I would normally rate it at the full four stars.
I do love how devoted Justin is to Viola and how willing he is to do whatever he can to make her happy. Watching Justin fall so easily for her after realizing he had never lost his friend in the war and after getting to know her even more was so sweet to watch. Watching the personal growth they both go through for themselves pulled at my heartstrings.
