Not a thriller, but not bad. A simple but entertaining story. My only issue was when we meet elderly Aunt Suzy the writers fatphobia comes out in full force. This is a pretty short visit, but Jewell finds many creative ways to say this women is fat and gross. Then has a character say out loud that she is fat and gross. Seemed out of place, and rude. It was super off putting and kind of took me out of the book for a while.
