2.5

While I did enjoy myself while reading this, it quickly became repetitive. After a couple hundred pages the endless psychological breakdown of the book's antihero, Raskolnikov, becomes boring. The book's ending, additionally, felt anticlimactic and ultimately seemed to convey a peculiar message to the reader, which I didn't take very well to.
