As Time Goes By
by Mary Higgins Clark
As a lifelong MHC fan, this one was a good story that lacked all of the classic MHC - suspense, intrigue, and a revelation you didn't see coming at all. I figured out the connection between the stories early on, and I was disappointed that she had poorly wrapped two story lines - the drug ring, and Delaney's budding romance with Jon. Both of those could have been better written instead of basically reading a book full of transcripts of court testimony. Is MHC losing her edge?
