A necessary read given the news. I’m not really smart enough to understand history and dates but I found this easy to understand and follow. If anyone wants a brief but informative starter for political activism I do recommend the conclusion especially but the entire book is so important! Written history of people who were there and are from the places we talk about is invaluable and yet all too difficult to get ahold of sometimes.
