This Author has done it again! This is only my second Dani Galliaro book, and the quality of it is just as good as the previous book I read. This book had some pretty heavy topics but I kind of enjoyed that part of it, as the topics themselves are incredibly important. This story follows Dylan and Jeanine Wendlock as they go through a difficult time for their small family, after moving to a new city, the strain of a new place and issues already taking place on their marriage, leaves this couple on the brink of divorce. They must heal from the past and work hard in the present to save their love and keep their family together, through professional and familial hardships they will do everything they can to keep their world from collapsing.
This story talks about pregnancy loss, family drama, and mental health. I think it was really well done and I think it is incredibly important for more women to see themselves and their hardships in literature. While I am someone who is childless, I feel so deeply for those who have experienced anything depicted in this story, I hope any spouse of someone struggling would step up like Dylan did! 4.5 ⭐️‘s
