The Resolution for Women by Priscilla Shirer

2.0

I'll admit it, I skimmed the last few chapters, but I was busy moving, and by then I realized that the book wasn't really doing it for me and the discussions of my women's group were way more interesting than the book itself.

This was written in conjunction with The Resolution for Men which was as a companion piece for the movie Fireproof. It's all fine, but maybe I've been out of the Bible study habit too long or something because this book really didn't speak to me and Priscilla Shirer's "voice" really annoyed me. Maybe it's because we watched some videos she did about the book and so I could actually hear her voice while I was reading the book. I don't know. For whatever reason, this one just made me want to snarkily tear it apart rather than take the lessons to heart.
