Darkmore Penitentiary by Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti

5.0

There is nothing I love more than a strong, bad a** main heroine and Rosalie is all that and more. She has so many strengths and knows how to use every last one to her advantage. She doesn’t take crap from anyone and uses her past to keep her fighting.

Okay guys, so there are some hot alphas in this book. I love Rosalie’s relationships with each of her men. They are all so different, yet they seem to all work with her personality. If anyone can handle all of them it would be her. I honestly have a hard time picking my favorite. Throughout the first half of the book, I would decide on one and then I would read another chapter and change my mind.

All the side characters are so well written also. Even though there are a lot of them, you still feel strongly towards all of them. Some feelings may not be as nice, but hate is still an emotion, right?

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Caroline and Susanne book without a cliffhanger. Ugh, I am so excited to read more about Rosa, her group of men and all the secrets in Darkmore Penitentiary. I already know it will be worth the wait.
