Pumpkinheads
by Rainbow Rowell
I love Autumn and Halloween. They're my favorite season and holiday, respectively, so I wanted to read this pretty bad. It's a cute book! Although it kinda feels like it's treading water a bit at times, every chapter is a vehicle to enjoy more Autumn stuff and the main characters, Deja and Josiah. Maybe it was predictable, but the art was colorful and fun, and the characters' interactions were charming. It's a fun, quick read.
For those who like Autumn, pumpkins, the feel of Halloween, and sappy coming of age stories.
Not for those who expect something entirely fresh, dislike romance, or can't enjoy something definitely targeting teens.
