I found myself very fascinated by this book. Her story of transformation from atheist to Christian seemed to have many parallels with my own faith journey. I liked what she had to say about communion and how much it can represent to many people. I loved her point that Christianity is about relationships because that matches with one of my personal beliefs about the faith as well. I think that Sara Miles and I could sit down and have a great conversation about faith, Christianity, helping others and other such topics. She is a great writer and seems like a nice person. I'm sure we would get along if we ever met. I really want to visit her church now after reading this book and maybe even stop in at her food pantry. A great book about a very unlikely conversion but one that this ex-atheist could definitely relate to.
