When I picked up this book I didn’t realise how much it would speak to me. As someone who came to understand and accept themselves while in a long-term relationship I could understand exactly where Georgina was coming from. But wow was this book a rollercoaster ride! There was so much drama, but what I enjoyed most was the communication between characters. Miscommunication is so often used as a way to fuel drama in romance books these days, but this one proved that you could have drama and also avoid silly misunderstandings. Granted, there were a lot of secrets kept between these characters but it never felt frustrating, and even when characters did or said the wrong thing they eventually talked it out and got back to a better place. I also really loved the ending for how bold and unexpected it was, it certainly wasn’t where I thought the story would go but I think it was a great choice.
