Jump Cut by Ted Staunton

Spencer wants to make movies. When his grandfather dies and leaves him the task of filming a kiss from an old Hollywood star, he has his perfect opportunity but doesn’t realize it until it’s almost too late. There are interspersed bits of actual movie script style writing. Lots of action. Characters are quite stereotypical. Plot is predictable. Should appeal to reluctant boy readers, however. Is part of a series but stands alone and does not need to be read in any particular order.
