I have conflicted feelings with this book and am waffling between a 3.5 star and 4 stars. This has enemies to lovers, magic and intrigue. All things I should like. But I feel like the world building and magic system could have been better and cooler. I also didn't like that there was a love triangle. And there were alot of plot twists that I predicted. But I was invested in finding out what happened. But I am not in a rush to read book two.
