This book is the most surprisingly heartwarming books I’ve ever read. The main character is a monster viewing human interactions from the outside and her thoughts and observations feel very much like mine as an autistic person. The social commentary was very well done and not overwhelming, so there was still space to focus on the main characters story and her love story. This book was a trip and gory, but also had me laughing and crying.
I expected to like this book, but I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do!! I’ll absolutely be recommending this to everyone I know.
