INSURGENT by Veronica Roth

Picking up where DIVERGENT left off, INSURGENT follows Tris, Four, and others as they continue the conflict with Erudite and what they call Dauntless traitors. Haunted by her actions in DIVERGENT, Tris must fully embrace her  Divergence...she must risk everything.
INSURGENT is the second book in YA dystopian trilogy DIVERGENT. It is action-packed, emotional, and quite long. It took me almost a week to read 154 pages, but it only took me a few hours---spread across two days---to read the rest. This started slow, and I really struggled getting into it (that's what happens when you already know the gist of what's going to happen bc you watched the movies). I actually started to dread picking this up, but I made it to the halfway point. From there, it was easy to fly through. Everything picked up. The stakes were higher, there was drama, alliance shifts, and everything started falling into place.
When I first started INSURGENT, I had originally decided to take a break before reading the next...but I think I'll jump right into the next.
