Okay, I’m ready to rate this after letting it sit for more than half a month. I personally really disliked this book. I’m just sad that this is how she chooses to finish off the trilogy.
1. Personally, I think there’s no plot in this book, and we were kind of thrown a plot when the book is already more than halfway through because, like? Okay, I get that the book was trying to round up some of the points from the previous book, but really? Nothing really happened in the first half of the book. Just the two characters and their banter.
2. Honestly, when I reached the end of the book, I still had more questions unanswered than questions answered. I realised the author is probably giving herself a leeway to continue the series in the future if she felt like it. Don’t call it a trilogy if you’re going to do that.
Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the characters, but the first half of the book was truly just them bantering, and nothing really happens, and then boom, she decided that she needs to include something to give it some plot? Idk, it just wasn’t how I expected the trilogy to end. Not to mention that I really didn’t like the decision the character chose to make. Like… no.
