This is the second book in the series and wow I was not disappointed at all! I think I actually liked this book better than the first one! I read this one way faster than the first one too. I also found that the less amount of suspects and focusing more on just one case was a lot easier (for me at least) to follow. Also it seemed like this book flowed better than the first. But wow I was not expecting that twist at the end! I actually found myself racing through the last few chapters because I was shook!!! I liked how the author also incorporated Pip doing a podcast and how that tied into the story. But I will say the podcast got sort of abandoned towards the last like 10 chapters. But I honestly didn’t even notice with how intense and climactic it got. I’d also say that this book was a bit darker than the first so just a note.

Spoiler alert ahead:
When Pip was trying to save Stanley at the end I couldn’t help but actually get emotional and I wasn’t even attached to his character.
Also some of the things Pip did were actually crazy. Like girl became unhinged! I really liked the writing and the storyline of this book. It really held my attention all the way through. Excited to read the final book now!
