Randomly borrowed this on OverDrive and read it on my commutes. People used to come into the library I worked at looking for this book, and I’ve always be curious why.
This was difficult to read because of the stories of abuse. And it’s probably better to not rate this book because it is the author’s personal experience. But I didn’t think I would finish reading it and yet I did. This is different from my usual reads, and I have to say it was a ride.
Grad school is hard enough but to struggle through personal and family conflict on top - it adds a whole level of difficulty.
