3.5 Stars. If I loved romances 4 stars. Quinn is a lovely writer. I enjoyed her writing, her humor, her characters, her setting and, for the most part, her plot turns. As I was somewhere in chapter 8 I thought, hey, I'm reading a romance and maybe enjoying it. Then I saw I was not even halfway through the audio book, because, I was about ready for it to be done. Because romance has to have tension and distress and I usually feel manipulated with all the drama and dialogue, and I definitely felt this way in the second half of the book. And, often, I don't understand why some of the characters make the decisions they do. But that is all part of the Romance Genre. I'm trying to beef up my knowledge of romances a bit for work and she is a recommended author. She also has some spice in her novel.
