3 stars. I just love Karin Kallmaker’s writing. I think I say that in every review. Even when they’re not all winners there’s always something about them that are so addicting and the romances are so good. I love the way she writes romantic chemistry and how emotional the sex scenes can be. This was all of those things but in the end I can’t say that I was all that invested. I liked Leah and Jackie and their romance a lot as I found them both to be likable and easy to root for. It was just the plot that was a bit dry for me but overall it wasn’t terrible or anything and it was a quick read but not a favorite for me.
