Only dropped it a star cause of the conflict resolution at the end.

In my opinion, Pen didn’t deserve an easy forgiveness. I didn’t like her from the get go with how she treated Lukas as an object without feelings. And so much for being Scarlett’s best friend. She couldn’t even tell Scarlett fell in love with Lukas.

I loved the dynamic between Lukas and Scarlett. It’s a breath of fresh air seeing a relationship like that portrayed in a *mostly* healthy way. With communication and trust. It’s also very spicy which was expected after reading the first chapter. 😂 Ali Hazelwood knocked it out of the park with this one.
