I'm a total vibe reader, and this was vibing for me. It started with insta-lust but evolved into something deeper before they hopped in the sack, so it saved itself. It had all the mafia vibes, the touch me and die, political complications and rituals, and a FMC who can save herself. The underlying storyline has me going back for book 2 even though the FMC is a little young for my reading tastes.
