The Thirteenth Tale
by Diane Setterfield
I appreciated the story in the story and some of the lyrical story telling in this but I felt so disconnected from all of the characters. There were so many points where I was like so what or I don’t care about this and that made so much of the read a tedious slog. I also deeply wanted Margaret to get therapy. I did however enjoy the twist from Vida Winters. A totally fine book but not my favorite.
