Alright so, this couple mqde me almost forget I'm reading a dark romance until a tsunami hit✨ they also like made me start believing in romantic gestures again. There something about a "touch her and die" x "touch him and die" duo that just makes my heart flutter.
The way this book is written? How Kirill breaks the fourth wall in his inner monologues? I surprisingly love that a lot. And the fact that he's unintentionally funny is just *chef's kiss*.
Also, I'm here trying to convince myself Rina wouldn't do this to us. She wouldn't write a character who manipulates us as readers the same way he manipulates characters within the book, but I don't think I can gaslight myself on this one. It's 11 pm, and I'm desperate to see who was or wasn't telling the truth. 🫠
