The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey
4.0
A great second book in a great series. I listened to the audiobook version and I love the different voices the narrators used. They were able to clearly distinguish the characters, which made it easier for me to follow. I think I would have been a bit confused without it.
The characters are well developed. Although this was more build up than clear plot, I think it moves along quickly. The side characters are more developed and we do get a real sense of what they are like.
There were a lot of clever references. I would suspect that the child from the very beginning in the field was Poundcake's brother, which is a shame.
I was SHOCKED by the end of Ringer's section. As she says, game within game with game. Very interesting twist of events.
I can't wait for the next book in the series. Hurry up, Rick Yancey!
