There’s a lot of things I liked about this book. The characters are easy to read and feel cohesive. I really enjoy how love and redemption and what it means to be good is portrayed throughout the book.
I also am always a fan of science fiction lesbians and I really loved how their love is developed.

I do have one complaint though just cause it kind of seemed disconnected at times. I appreciate the diversity of this book. That being said, the way the world is presented I’m assuming that Godolia and the world in this book is a new fantasy-esque world not connected to our world. However because many of the characters are Korean (or at least that’s how they’re portrayed) there were times when they would bring up specific things to Korean culture that felt disconnected from the world that was built.  I wish that the culture was established earlier in the series so it wouldn’t feel as disconnected. I think the story could also work if it’s set in Korea in a distant future and maybe that was the intent all along but I wish it had been established earlier in the series so that when they bring up pieces of their culture that it seemed more fluid in the story.
