Dirty Curve
by Meagan Brandy
f: Meyer
m: Tobias
(Dual POVs)
Do you ever put off starting another book, cause you just want to stay in a certain book world for just a little bit longer, even after you’ve finished it? Well that’s me with this book. It’s been days since I’ve finished it and I’m still captivated by the strong connection these characters shared and I haven’t quite been ready to move on and let them go. This was my first book by Meagan Brandy (I know, I know, I’m late to the game) and I can definitely see what all the hype is about! I LOVED this book. From the plot to the characters, I fell head over heels in love with this book.
I’m claiming Tobias as my latest book boyfriend. It's the little things for me, like him being so patient and attentive when it comes to Meyer. I love how determined he was to try to get to know her, and how nonjudgmental he could be about certain situations. I adored the way he becomes so accommodating, putting Meyer’s needs before his own and doing anything he can to make things easier in her life. The way he becomes completely wrecked for her shows me how deeply he cares for Meyer, with his heart and soul, and what girl doesn’t want to be loved so intensely?
This book not only pulled some deep emotions out of me, but it kept me engaged with the way my brain kept going wild with theories about Meyer’s situation. I think the title of this book fits perfectly because just when you think you’ve had enough clues to know what the deal is, there’s a curve ball thrown at ya! If you want to call Tobias the King of curve balls, I’ll gladly call Meagan Brandy the queen!
Favorite Quotes:
“I can give you whatever it is you want, do whatever you like. I’m a generous man. I’d be good to you, I promise.” -Tobias
“Baby, just… just tell me what I did, and I’ll fix it. I’ll change it. Ma, I’ll be anything you want me to be if you just let me be yours…” -Tobias
“You feel good, like mine.” -Tobias
