Ok, so I’m not gonna pretend that I’m super smart, and try to analyze this in a new or profound way. I honestly picked this to read because I’ve challenged myself to read one classic every month, and I saw the audibook was under 6 hours.
With that being said, I did enjoy the story and see why it has become a classic. I thought the commentary on censorship was witty and interesting way. It also made me think about how obsession to technology can lead to an abandoning of community.
Some moments did become a bit repetitive, but overall the story moved along quickly. I liked seeing Montag’s progression and resistance to the status quo.
