Absolutely delightful romp! Loveable cast of characters and interesting fantasy world built that I will be eager to dive into again. I also really enjoy Pratchett’s social commentary beneath all the quippy dialogue. And I love it when the guard are just being a bunch of ding dongs - pure entertainment.
Pacing felt a bit odd to me, lost some momentum in the middle, but really picked up in the last hundred or so pages. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, so I’m not super used to having to learn a new world and large set of characters, so that was a challenge. But I feel like as I return to Discworld that will not be as intimidating.
