That was really fun to read. The plot was complex and multi-layered, but not in a confusing way. The characters were a bit hard to keep track of at times (so many names!), but mapping out their relationships to eachother helped. Ultimately this book explores what it means to be a person. It goes into more depth than the previous novellas because it has the space to do so.

Both my Mum and my sister have also read it now, so it's fun being able to rant about what has happened in the book with them.
Some highlights from talking to them and in general are:
  • ART being dead and being so sad about it cos ART is great
  • ART no longer being dead and me and Murderbot being so happy about it
  • The whole relationship between Murderbot and Art tbh
  • Comparing making the Murderbot copy/killware like it and ART having a baby
  • ART's crew caring about it and giving it a nickname, Peri
  • The shenanigans with the multiple perspects with 1.0, 2.0 and Three.
  • Mensah and Murderbot caring about eachother
