Straight up: not a fan of the FMC. It felt like her character was pushed too far into “crazy” territory. Trying too hard. It overwhelmed aspects of the story and got in the way of the MMCs getting more fleshed out in the book. I like my books spicy, but not at the expense of the plot. This one felt like it walked the line but some other parts of the story weren’t given the dedication they deserved.
