Lulu grapples with a lot in this book -- how sexism works to diminish the perceived value of her art; how feminism alone without intersectionality does not adequately address the needs of all women; a growing understanding and ownership of her sexuality; and how social media can be both a weapon and a tool.

But it's not heavy-handed; all that is woven into a very readable story.
