Love Is for Losers by Wibke Brueggemann

3.0

Okay so first of all I want to say I actually give this book a 3.5/5. I went into it knowing it was a lighthearted, easy to digest romance book so I was not disappointed in that regard.

The book is relatively slow for about the first 200 pages which is quite a lot. From the blurb you would assume that Emma and Phoebes relationship is at the forefront of the entire book but it takes a bit of a backseat. I was expecting a bit more of the romance factor but I know that this could just be preference.

Pheobe has an individuality complex and I know that it's supposed to center around the fact she is scared to get attached due to losing people she loves but at times it feels as though she is shaming other people around her for not being as repulsed by the idea of love as she is which made me struggle to like her at times.

This book had a few funny moments that made me giggle or caught me off guard and the ending was very cute. I just wish the book followed Pheobes journey to trusting love and growing with Emma more.

Overall- If you're just looking for a cute wlw romance that's really easy to digest, this is a good option.
