I really enjoyed this book - what fun! Hilde Goode is a fascinating and unreliable narrator - a realtor on the brink of falling apart, and seems to have no idea she is. As a realtor, Hilde is the perfect character to give us a sense of an old New England town - and the setting is a central part of this novel. I found the characters interesting and believable - all people I could imagine meeting (and many of whom I really want to meet!). I really was sad when the book ended.
