I’m not super into Christmas themed books but this one was cute and I enjoyed the grumpy-sunshine trope. Billionaire workaholic MMC Archie originally swears off love, until he meets the FMC. The FMC is a sweet girl who’s put her life on hold to care for her mum with dementia, and her niece, who’s been orphaned due to a car accident. The precocious niece in this story is one of the few times I felt the child character actually adds to the story rather than being poorly written. I liked the dynamics between the characters and thought this was a nice, fluffy, feel good story. Archie was definitely a highlight too!
Graphic: Classism and Dementia
Moderate: Car accident, Death, Alcohol, and Death of parent
Minor: Panic attacks/disorders
