The Angel's Game is a story that happens before Shadow of the Wind yet is second in the series. Reading after Shadow makes sense.

This book is full of romance, Gothic mansions, books, writers, wit and murder. What's not to love? Ok. I would have loved less murder.
The Angel's Game, the second Zafon book that I have read, has elevated him to my new favorite author. Wonderful!
