This was good, ratcheting up the tension over some really ridiculously manipulative relationships in a way that kind of made my head spin. I’m kind of in awe of Flynn’s ability to make the manipulation feel so real. I think the third act was both kind of perfect and also ridiculous, if that makes any sense. It’s both satisfying and also like, completely outside the realm of possibility to the point of being nonsensical. But I still liked it, in a way. Maybe it was a bit too far fetched but I went along with it because the book was really invested in the story  I’m sure if I read this on another day I might’ve gotten frustrated or found it too ridiculous, so I guess it caught me on a good day. Not a bad thriller, and some good character development around manipulative and toxic female relationships.
