Manga Classics: Emma by Crystal S. Chan, Jane Austen
4.0
*I received a copy of this manga from the publisher and NetGalley for my honest review*
I have not read the original story of Emma by Jane Austen so this is strictly a review of the manga.
I loved this. I truly did. I was a cute little story that had a deeper meaning behind it. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I'm not huge on classics but I love manga so I figured this would be a nice fit for me. And it was. I managed to get through the story quickly and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Any problems that I would have had if this were written today aren't really an issue. This is how things were back in Emma's time. It made sense to have it written this way.
I probably wouldn't read this again anytime soon but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to read more classics but can't seem to get into them. I would like to check out some more Manga Classics soon.
