i thought i would like this book the most in the series because hot baseball man and hot baker lady. i am sad to say i did not jive with this one.

i get that it is pivotal to the trope of having and getting with a nanny, but i found the baby to be included way too much. this book was too sickly sweet, sappy, and cheesy for me and i spent the entire time waiting for it to click. even with the previous book it clicked for me but i did not feel that here.

miller and montys backstory is so unbelievably cute and sad. it had me tearing up at the end because monty really is the best and deserves EVERYTHING.

i am definitely not the correct audience for “tenderly loving” ass romance books and so this kind of gave me the ick unfortunately :( highly recommend if that’s something you’re into though, the series itself is a fun time
