I thought I would say that if you love DFW's work, you should read this, but, really, I'm not so sure. I enjoyed it, yes, and like many people who love his writing, I have a craving for more time in his head-space, so of course I was going to read this interview. But I don't know that it adds very much, finally, and I even feel a little uncomfortable with it, like I'd rather have stuck with the things that he produced himself and had final say over.

Lipsky is annoying, but to fans of DFW, anyone in that position would be.
