My least favorite so far, although Dietz was a bright spot.
She's ended books abruptly before but this one ended abruptly AND left me confused. So many names thrown in at the end... I had to go back and re-read parts to get the whole picture, which I don't feel I should need to do. And even then, I'm still left with questions. Additionally, the bit with the "first contact" (aka UPS guy) felt so out of character for Kinsey, like what? she would never be so stupid!
I did like Dietz and was so glad Kinsey found a real connection, but the reader is shut out of their four months together... G is for Gypped! I know these aren't romance novels but Grafton could have expounded on their relationship for a page or two, instead of just one measly sentence. Perhaps it gets explained more in the next book, as she is good at weaving past bits back into the current story. I hope so.
