Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

3.0

I have read Raised by Wolves and Trial By Fire, both by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, so when I saw Every Other Day come up on Netgalley I knew I had to read it.

From the start of Every Other Day you are thrown straight into the action as we see Kali kill preternatural creatures, and follow her as she makes friends (a first) and does what she can to protect them. Her path to friendship is a rocky one though, and although you can see she doesn't want to make friends, she is eventually drawn into a group of misfits who welcome her like she is one of them.

I really enjoyed reading Every Other Day, although it isn't like Jennifer's other books I have read, it was a refreshing change to see how she writes about different characters and roles.
Every Other Day is defiantly a page turner, the suspense kept me wanting to turn the page to see what happens next to Kali and how she is going to act to the different situations she is put into. I was surprised with how the story panned out, and didn't expect things to take place, or for people to be "found".

Every Other Day had me laughing and crying and I did not expect it to end the way it did. If you are a fan of Jennifer Lynn Barnes then you should defiantly check this book out, if your not, then you don't know what your missing.
