Sharpshooter in Petticoats by Mary Connealy

4.0

If you like Sophie's Daughters or any of Mary's other historical romance series' you will really enjoy this book especially since (I think) it features every character from Montana Marriages and Lassoed in Texas. Sharpshooter in Petticoats not only gives Mandy the ending she deserves but reunites all the characters we know and love in a fashion that only Mary Connealy can pull off.

As a follower of the series I was excited to read Mandy's story. Since having read the fiasco with Sidney in Doctor in Petticoats and pretty much loathing him from the get go I had the feeling he wouldn't be around for the long haul...thank goodness he wasn't! I'm usually pretty quick at figuring things out and becoming attached to certain characters. Sid wasn't one of them. I was hoping that I would be seeing a little more of Tom Linscott and I wasn't dissappointed. When you put two stubborn folks like Mandy and Tom together there's bound to be some friction and boy do the sparks fly. Chaotic, crazy, action-packed, and of course, hilarious this is one book not to be missed. This was the first book I read on my Nook but I enjoyed it so much I plan on getting a "real" copy to put on my bookshelf!

*I received my complimentary galley copy through the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for posting my review of the book.*
