Oh my god read this book. If you love romance books that will make you audibly giggle and kick your feet you need to read this. There were points where I was just grinning for pages at a time and points where I was tearing up and where I was laughing. I love books about normal people’s normal lives but with some magic in there (e.g. one of my other 5* reads the midnight library).
There’s also a list of discussion questions at the end, and a list of other books that pair well with it, which I thought was such a cute touch.
Beautiful, even the acknowledgments and readers guide at the end were gorgeously written. I’ll be rereading this.
(We got off on the wrong foot because there’s a a typo on page 4 which really wound me up lol and I thought no matter how good this book is it can’t be 5 stars now, but I was convinced.)
